The Green Chemistry journal, from the Royal Society of Chemistry, releases a thematic issue on the use of continuous flow reactors in the pharmaceutical industry
Continuous flow reactions have gained increasingly higher ground, not only in academia, but also in industry. The pronounced growth in this field in the last years may be attributed to a number of advantages displayed by these processes, such as faster, safer and cleaner reactions.
The Green Chemistry journal, from the Royal Society of Chemistry, has published in April a themed issue on “Continuous processing and flow chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry”. This issue describes the recent advances on the use of continuous flow processes on drug discovery and development, and had the deputy director of CERSusChem, Dra. Helen Sneddon, as invited editor.
