ETEC students from Catanduva met the Department of Chemistry of UFSCar

On June 27, the CERSusChem dissemination of education group organized a visit to the Chemistry Department of UFSCar of ETEC students Elias Nechar from the city of Catanduva.

The students were received by prof. Dra. Lúcia Helena Mascaro Sales, director of education of the CERSusChem, prof. Dra. Dulce Helena Ferreira, coordinator of the course of Degree in Chemistry, and the director of the Department of Chemistry, prof. Dr. Ernesto Chaves Pereira de Souza.

Were presented to the students general aspects of the structure of UFSCar and the Department of Chemistry, as well as an introduction to the concepts of Green Chemistry and the work of the CERSusChem.
After the presentation, the students met five of the laboratories of the Department of Chemistry, in which were presented experiments, processes and areas of action of each one.
