Submissions open for the 2018 Elsevier Foundation Green & Sustainable Chemistry Challenge

Submissions are open from august 15th for the 2018 Elsevier Foundation Green & Sustainable Chemistry Challenge. The submissions will be open up to October 15th, and the price will be given to innovative and environmentally sustainable ideas in the field of chemistry. The five selected researchers will present their projects in the 2018 Green & Sustainable Chemistry Conference, which will take place in Berlin. Two projects will be awarded, the winning one with € 50,000, and the second place will receive € 25,000. A Brazilian researcher was the winner of the 2017 prize, Prof. Dênis Pires de Lima, from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul.
