Post-doctoral fellowship

The main objective of this project is to prove the biological activity of quinoxaline derivatives in the drug development for tropical diseases such as Chagas' disease and leishmaniasis. More specifically, our goal is the synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives aiming at improving yield, a scalable and safe process and decreasing of chemical residues. The post-doctoral fellow will work at Laboratory of Synthesis of Natural Products (LSPN) at Department of Chemistry, Federal University of São Carlos.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The fellowship starts on June 2016 and finishes on March 2017. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6,143.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
