CERSusChem’s short-course on the applications of sustainable chemistry at UFSCar
The deputy director of CERSusChem, Dr. Helen Sneddon, head of the green chemistry division of GlaxoSmithKline, in UK, delivered at UFSCar the short-course “Applications of sustainable chemistry in academia and industry” on October 5th. The course, which was free of charge, was attended by undergraduate and graduate students, and researchers from the universities nearby, as well as professional workers from the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Sneddon showed case studies and answered several questions related to green chemistry.
