Green and sustainable chemistry journals have their overall impact factors increased

Last week, Thomson Reuters released the 2016 Journal Citation Reports, and the journals in the new category “Green and Sustainable Science & Technology” had their Impact Factors increased when compared to the 2014 report. The Impact Factor provides an indication of the average number of citations per paper, and is calculated by dividing the number of citations in a year by the number of citable articles published in the preceding two years.

The new Impact Factors are available on the Web of Science platform.
